Aeonmed Surgical Light OL9570/50 Won 2009 China Red Star Design Award
On Nov. 27, the China Red Star Design Award, which was named as Chinese Oscars in the field of industry, held a magnificent award ceremony in the CCTV building in Beijing. There were the Ministry of Science, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology , China Industrial Design Association, Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the relevant Missionary leaders attended the ceremony. The award-winning business, industrial parks, associations, districts and counties directly under the Center for Science and Technology Commission and the Science and Technology Commission representatives, judges, experts gathered together. Other foreign embassies and cultural institutions also attended.
After four years, the award has a significant upgrade in reputation and influence at home and abroad, which has gradually become the most authoritative industrial design platform and the development weathervane of china design creative industry.
Red Star received 3821 products from 758 applicants with the coverage extending 25 provinces. 10 experts from UK, USA, Japan, Korea, China Taiwan and mainland China were invited to be part of the international jury. Through a strict screening process, a total of 191 products from 102 applicants were awarded, in which there were one Best of Gold Prize, 8 Gold Prizes, 10 Best Originality Prizes, 172 Excellent Prizes, one Best Team Prize and one Best New Designer Prize.
Aeonmed Surgical Light OL9570/50 was awarded the China Red Star Design Award. Before this time, Aeonmed products had received awards several times, including Solo Ventilator winning Red Star prize in the 2006 , Shangrila930 Ventilator winning gold prize for Renovative Design in 2007 , Aeon7900D Anesthesia Machine winning the Best Originality Prize, and Epump800 syringe pump winning the Red Star award.
